Fall Tastes Better in Missouri: Explore the Ozarks Coffee Trail

The Ozarks Coffee Trail returns for its sixth season, giving locals and visitors a chance to explore coffee shops throughout the Springfield area and surrounding communities. The free, mobile-friendly pass features more than 40 participating coffee shops and highlights the locally owned businesses that contribute to the region’s coffee culture.

The program has continued to grow since its launch, with more than 4,500 participants taking part during the previous season. Beyond encouraging exploration, the Coffee Trail brings new and returning customers to locally owned coffee shops throughout the region.

“We’re excited for everyone to experience another season of the Ozarks Coffee Trail and discover the incredible coffee culture we have throughout the region,” said Andrea Copeland, Vice President of Marketing for Visit Springfield. “Season six gives coffee lovers even more opportunities to explore local coffee shops, with more chances to earn rewards and revisit their favorite places along the way. It’s a fun way to support locally owned businesses that make our coffee community so special.”

The trail is one example of the broader food and beverage culture found across Missouri. The state’s diverse food and beverage industry includes manufacturing, agricultural processing, specialty producers, breweries, bakeries, restaurants, and locally owned businesses.

Coffee is another part of that story. From coffee roasters and specialty cafés to community gathering places, coffee businesses contribute to the character of communities across Missouri. In the Ozarks, the Coffee Trail brings many of those local businesses together through a single experience.

As the sixth season begins, the Ozarks Coffee Trail offers another way to discover the people, businesses, and communities that make the region distinctive, one coffee shop at a time.
