Missouri Wins 2018: Distillery Expands In Missouri, Adds 30+ Jobs

All month long Missouri Partnership is taking a look back at some of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from the past year, and today we are taking a look back at J. Rieger & Co. Distillery’s expansion in Kansas City, Missouri.
In September, J. Rieger & Co. Distillery announced plans to expand in Kansas City’s historic West Bottoms neighborhood. The expansion will help the distillery quintuple production to meet growing demand, and expects to grow from its current team of a half dozen employees to a headcount of more than 40 by next spring.
