Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has received a $50 million federal grant aimed at helping researches turn scientific discoveries into ways to improve human health.
The university announced the grant from the National Institutes of Health in a release Monday.
Dr. Bradley A. Evanoff, assistant dean for clinical and translational research, says the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences at the medical school is focused on speeding up the application of research findings in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various health conditions.
