Two Missouri utility companies earn honorable mentions as top utilities for economic development

Ameren Corp. and KCP&L both earned honorable mentions in Site Selection magazine’s latest list of the nation’s top utilities for economic development.
“This year’s top utility economic development teams know they’re part of something bigger than themselves,” the report stated.
The annual list highlights utilities that play key roles in economic development projects, including their job-creating infrastructure, facility investment trends and innovative programs and incentives for businesses.
