Two Missouri bars named “Best Frozen Cocktail Bars” by Paste Magazine. Snow and Company in Kansas City is ranked at No. 1, and Tropical Liqueurs in Columbia is ranked at No. 6.
According to Paste, the frozen cocktail trend has been on the rise in the U.S.
“Some of the best frozen cocktail bars in the country take not just the novelty of the tasty treat into account, but use high-end ingredients to make your favorite childhood beverage into a boozy adult version with class,” the magazine stated.
Snow and Company, which opened in 2011 in Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District, offers made from scratch frozen cocktails with real juice, premium spirits and handmade syrup. They also serve food and plan to open a second KC location this summer.
Tropical Liqueurs, which opened in downtown Columbia in 1985, made from scratch frozen cocktails using original recipes. They currently have two locations in Columbia and one in Springfield, Missouri.
