Touton USA, a French commodity trader, plans to put its North American headquarters in Kansas City, creating 21 executive jobs.
The company will open its office at 11500 N. Ambassador Drive in Kansas City, according to the Kansas City Area Development Council. The city competed with Indianapolis and Omaha, Neb., for the project and was selected based on “competitive cost advantages, proximity to (Kansas City International Airport) and the area’s concentration of commodity trading firms,” KCADC spokeswoman Ashlie Hand said in a statement.
