St. Louis Community College is opening its new Center for Workforce Innovation on Monday, adjacent to the college’s Florissant Valley campus.
The 32,000-square-foot center, at 3344 Pershall Road in Ferguson, will serve more than 500 students a year in workforce training programs.
The center is located in a former Circuit City building the college acquired from Miami-based GECMC in February 2010 for $1.2 million and which received a $2 million makeover.
