Square Inc. has started the transition from its temporary office space in the CIC@CET building to its newly developed space in @4240, where it plans to hire 200 workers for its St. Louis operations over the next five years.
Square, the Silicon Valley-based mobile payments company that was founded by native St. Louisans Jack Dorsey and Jim McKelvey, now has 17,000 square feet of space in the Cortex facility, which was recently converted from a parking garage into office space for $850,000.
