Sports & Outdoors Retailer Bringing 100 New Jobs to Missouri

Academy Sports & Outdoors, a premier sports, outdoor, and lifestyle retailer, is bringing 100 new jobs to Columbia, Missouri with the opening of their new 63,000 sq. ft. retail space. Academy Sports + Outdoors is one of the nation’s largest sporting goods and outdoor stores, operating more than 200 retail outlets in 15 states.
Academy Sports & Outdoors’ Columbia location will be the retailer’s seventh in Missouri, and will carry gear for local sports fans, as well as a broad assortment of quality hunting, fishing, camping equipment, sports and leisure products, footwear, apparel and much more. The new location is expected to open in early 2017.
