Gateway Fiber, a professional services company and developer of fiber broadband networks, recently announced plans to invest $150 million to grow its presence in Missouri. The company plans to begin fiber construction next month in St. Charles County, Missouri.
“Gateway Fiber is proud to bring powerful, modern internet infrastructure to St. Charles County,” said Heath Sellenriek, Co-Founder and President of Gateway Fiber. “The pandemic’s impact on how we work and learn remotely has only magnified the need for a fairer, friendlier and faster internet option.”
Gateway Fiber plans to create roughly 15 new jobs as part of the new investment. The company expects to provide service to nearly 30,000 homes and businesses in Missouri by the end of 2021.
Founded in 2019, Gateway Fiber constructs, owns, and operates fiber broadband networks that provide service to homes and businesses. In addition to its construction pipeline in St. Charles County, Gateway Fiber is also building networks in Warren County, Missouri.
