Pfizer, a global human health company, recently began construction on its new $60 million campus expansion. The new investment is expected to help Pfizer grow its employment and boost vaccine production.
The expansion is a roughly 20% increase to the company’s 295,000 sq. ft. campus and will accommodate 70 new employees the company hired in 2021, as well as an additional 40 new scientists and engineers.
The expansion will aid Pfizer’s continued research, development and manufacturing of its biotherapeutics and vaccines portfolios, including RNA-based treatments for COVID-19 boosters, flu and shingles vaccines.
