Skin Specialty Solutions Inc., a skin care company, and Nexius Solutions Inc., an information technology firm, both announced plans to expand at the Fenton Logistics Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The expansions are expected to bring 150 new jobs to the region.
Skin Specialty Solutions Inc. is leasing 48,080 sq. ft. at the park, and will create 100 new jobs. Nexius Solutions Inc. will lease 51,772 sq. ft., and will create 50 new jobs. The new tenants follow Killark Electric, a division of Hubbel Inc., and BASF, which inked deals for space at the park, a former Chrysler plant, earlier this year.
Fenton Logistics Park features nearly 1.5 million sq. ft. of manufacturing, logistics and warehouse space, 480,000 sq. ft. of office, warehouse and flex space, 182,500 sq. ft. of retail, restaurant and hotel space, and 105 acres of land owned by the BNSF Railway for anticipated additional railroad services.
The entire development has the potential to create 2,500 to 3,000 permanent jobs, resulting in an estimated $135 million in wages for the region, according to the developer. Other companies currently located at the park include BJC HealthCare’s Clinical Asset Management Division, CoreLink, Alkem Labs, and Beckwood Press Co.
