#MoreMissouri 2020: Kawasaki Announces New Investment in Missouri

Missouri delivers more than you expect. In Missouri, you’ll find more of everything. More global industries. More diverse assets. More affordability. All month long, Missouri Partnership is celebrating “more” by taking a look back at some of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from 2020. Today we’re checking out Kawasaki’s announcement to expand and invest in Missouri, creating 110 new jobs in the state.
In August, Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A., announced plans to expand and invest in Missouri, adding an additional shift and three assembly lines at its facility in Maryville.
“As our capacity need grows, so does the need for additional workforce,” said Anita Coulter, Vice President of Operations. “Northwest Missouri has provided the kind of workforce necessary to produce a quality product that has our customers requesting more.”
