MMC Contractors will add 42 jobs as result of $3M expansion project

MMC Contractors is planning to add 42 jobs with an average annual salary of $94,000 through an expansion of its current location at 13800 Wyandotte St. in Kansas City’s Martin City area.
The expansion will be completed by Windswept Properties LLC, which owns MMC
Contactors’ building. MMC, which occupies the building under a long-term lease agreement, presently employs 60 there.
The construction cost for the expansion is estimated at $3 million, and an additional $250,000 is expected to be spent on furnishing and equipping the new space.
Its completion, anticipated by next spring, will allow MMC Contractors to add 42 new positions, including equipment designers, installation technicians, project coordinators, company managers and back-office support personnel.
