All month long, Missouri Partnership is taking a look back at some of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from the past year. Today we are taking a look back at Central States Manufacturing’s expansion in St. Peters, Missouri.
In February, Central States Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer of metal building components for use in the construction industry, announced plans to expand with a new 53,600 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. The $6.4 million project is the first operation for Central States in Missouri, and the company expected to add 88 new jobs to the region.
“We want to extend a big, warm welcome to Central States Manufacturing,” said Missouri Governor Mike Parson. “We’re excited to be part of this company’s growth, and we look forward to working together as they create jobs and continue to invest in this region.”
