Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri, was recently named among the best U.S. colleges in an annual ranking by U.S. News and World Report. The Missouri university tied for the 19th spot on the rankings, which are based on factors that indicate academic quality, such as graduation rates and faculty resources, according to U.S. News.
Additionally, several Missouri universities ranked near the top of the U.S. News list for “regional universities” in the Midwest. Truman State University topped the local contingent at No. 9. Rockhurst University and Webster University followed in a tie for 23rd, and Drury University tied for No. 29.
