More than a dozen Missouri companies have announced plans to expand in the state in recent weeks. A total of 15 company expansions around the state have made this one of the busiest two weeks for expansion announcements in recent history.
Centene was the first to kick off the wave of expansions with its announcement of the opening of its new $25 million dollar service center. Paulo Products Co., which operates heat-treating facilities, also announced plans for a future expansion with the purchase of a new St. Louis facility.
FedEx Ground, Cohen Architectural Woodworking, Manchester Packaging Company, Henry Wurst Inc., Weld Racing LLC, Varsity Tutors, USA800 Inc., Pittsburgh Pipe, Anacomp Inc., R.P. Lumber, Metal Container Corp., The Hicor Group and Rockwell Beer Co. round out the expanding companies.
