Missouri Partnership Elevates Kim Gerlt to Vice President, Business Recruitment

Missouri – February 11, 2025 – Missouri Partnership is proud to announce the promotion of Kim Gerlt to Vice President, Business Recruitment. In this role, Gerlt will focus exclusively on leading business attraction projects, driving economic growth, and solidifying Missouri’s position as a top destination for businesses to invest and expand.

Since joining Missouri Partnership as Business Recruitment Manager & Legal Specialist in March 2021, Gerlt has established herself as an invaluable team member. She has contributed to several successful projects leading to more than 6,300 new jobs and $3.4 billion in capital investment from global companies. Gerlt has also supported the organization’s General Counsel on various legal items as part of her initial role as Legal Specialist.

In 2023, Gerlt was promoted to Director, Business Recruitment & Capacity Building. In this role, she spearheaded numerous high-profile and complex business attraction projects. Additionally, Gerlt oversaw Missouri Partnership’s robust Capacity Building program, Raise the Bar, playing a pivotal role in equipping Missouri communities for successful business attraction projects.

Gerlt’s extensive experience includes previous roles at The Missouri Bar and various departments within state government, including the Department of Insurance and the Office of the Missouri Governor.
