Missouri Partnership CEO Highlights the Power of Collaboration  on ‘Spotlight on Soybeans’ Podcast

After working with several local, regional, and state partners to attract American Foods Group (AFG) to Missouri, the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council, Missouri Corn Growers Association, Missouri Farmers Care, and Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority (MASBDA) came together with Missouri Partnership with a goal of attracting more food and beverage businesses like AFG to Missouri. This initiative, named YIELD, focuses on promoting Missouri as a prime location for food and beverage businesses and highlights the state’s strengths and collaborative business environment specific to agribusiness, food and beverage manufacturers, food and beverage processors, and distributors.

As a guest on the Spotlight on Soybeans Podcast, Missouri Partnership CEO, Subash Alias, discusses how this new partnership with Missouri’s commodities groups has uncovered unique marketing opportunities and allowed Missouri Partnership to do more of what we are already doing well in order to target business executives at food and beverage businesses outside of the state. “We already pursued food and beverage projects, we are just doing it even more.”

Subash ends with a plug to get more communities involved with Missouri Farmers Care so they can prepare themselves for incoming investment as a result of this unique collaboration. Learn more about Missouri Farmers Care’s Agri-Ready County Designation program.
