Missouri Partnership announced today that Deborah Price has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Recruitment & General Counsel. In her new role, Price will oversee Missouri Partnership’s Business Recruitment team while continuing to lead business attraction projects for the organization. She will maintain her role as General Counsel and provide her expertise to the CEO on various operational items. She will oversee finance, accounting, budgetary, and all human resource matters.

Price joined Missouri Partnership as Vice President, Business Recruitment in 2013. Her role expanded to include General Counsel responsibilities in 2015.
Price has led dozens of business attraction projects for Missouri Partnership during her tenure. She has worked with companies from around the world, including Accenture Federal Services, James Hardie, USDA, and Cushman & Wakefield to bring nearly $830 million in new capital investment to the state.
In addition to her contributions to the Business Recruitment team, Price has provided invaluable legal guidance for the organization. She advises the CEO on risk management and legal compliance for organizational operations and board procedures. She also oversees all legal matters, including contract negotiations, non-disclosure and licensing agreements, bylaws, and an array of other matters.

Prior to joining Missouri Partnership, Price was a litigator who prosecuted complex civil and criminal consumer fraud cases. She also taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University School of Law. She spent four years working in the Office of Missouri Governor Jeremiah Nixon where she served as Director of Boards and Commissions, leading the Governor’s team to identify, recommend, and appoint Missouri citizens to positions of public trust.
