Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, rank among the best cities in the U.S. for foreign businesses according to a joint ranking from Financial Times and Nikkei. Kansas City ranked 10th, and St. Louis ranked 19th on the list, which rates 89 cities on more than three dozen metrics.
Kansas City ranked well for its business environment, aftercare, and foreign business needs, while St. Louis ranked highly for investment trends and business environment.
To produce the FT-Nikkei Investing in America ranking, they compiled data on the economic, regulatory and social characteristics of U.S. cities and the preferences of overseas investors.
