Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, were recently named among the best cities in the U.S. for women in tech. The report released by SmartAsset, a data collection and analysis company, rated cities based on the gender pay gap, tech job growth and percentage of women in the existing tech workforce.
The two Missouri cities are no strangers to accolades in the tech industries. In 2019, both Kansas City and St. Louis were ranked as top cities for launching tech careers, by PC Magazine, and tied for fifth on Marketwatch.com’s 2019 list of America’s Emerging Tech Hot Spots.
