Joplin, Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, have been named among the top U.S. cities for global trade, according to Global Trade Magazine. Joplin, Missouri was named among the top 15 cities to watch in the U.S. notably for the city’s transportation infrastructure and strategic location. Kansas City’s infrastructure was also highlighted among the best in the U.S. as it is home to the largest rail center in the U.S. by tonnage, and is one of only five areas in the country where four Interstates (I-35, I-70, I-29, I-49) intersect. Additionally, St. Louis was recognized for having one of the best business environments in the U.S. thanks to its low cost of living, world-class universities and numerous centers of innovation such as SixThirty CYBER and Cultivation Capital.
With its strategic location, globally connected infrastructure, economic diversity, competitive business and labor costs, highly-skilled and hard working talent and a statewide commitment to attracting companies and investment, Missouri is a place where companies come to grow and thrive.
