Missouri-based SRC Logistics, a “reverse logistics” company that specializes in bringing used parts to remanufacturing facilities, is expanding within its current Springfield facility. SRC Logistics will invest $700,000 in the facility and will create 50 new jobs.
“The logistics advantages of southwest Missouri and its remanufacturing strength play off each other incredibly well, and SRC Logistics is a prime example of a company tapping into Show-Me State resources and contributing to the region’s continued success,” said Mike Downing, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
Missouri is the nation’s rail, river, road, pipeline and air crossroads, and its central location allows companies to reach more than 50% of the continental U.S. in less than one-day’s drive.
