Missouri-based Boeing Defense, Space & Security was recently awarded a $3.2 billion contract modification for Joint Direct Attack Munition, or JDAM, tailkits by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The contract, which was originally valued at $1.7 billion, was increased due to warfighter demand and the need to replenish depleted reserves.
