Millennial Money Goes Furthest in Missouri

Missouri has an abundance of talent, and a new study reveals that every dollar each Millennial in our workforce earns goes further in St. Louis, Missouri, than in any other U.S. metro. Commercial Real Estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle recently released a report that ranks St. Louis as the #1 city for Millennials to get the most bang for their buck. The report surveyed nearly 50 of the largest metro areas in the U.S. It compared household incomes of working Millennials in the various markets when adjusted for cost of living. Millennials in St. Louis came out on top. They have more than $11,000 in spending power over the national average. In addition to Missouri’s low cost of living, the workforce in Missouri also enjoys an exceptional quality of life.
