Mercury Communications and Construction, a wireless infrastructure services provider, is expanding its presence in Fenton and will invest more than $500,000 in new office space and software to help fuel growth.
Mercury Vice President Jeff Fischer said the wireless industry is quickly growing and Mercury, one of St. Louis’ largest women-owned businesses, is growing along with it.
The company is investing $150,000 to build an additional 4,000 square-feet of office space and will spend an additional $250,000 for a new software system. In all, Fischer said he expects to spend more than $500,000 on improvements that also include buying a new system to design cellular towers and a new fork lift.
