BMS Logistics Inc., a company specializing in contract packaging, on-line order fulfillment and warehousing, is expanding its operations in Kansas City, Missouri. The company leased 432,000 sq. ft. at the KCI Intermodal BusinessCentre, and is expected to add more than 200 jobs in the region.
The site will assemble and ship palletized displays and smaller versions called PDQs for store shelves. Additionally, BMS Logistics’ new facility will include retail fulfillment services, which involve warehousing and shipping clients’ products to fill customer orders.
The company plans to begin operations at the site in January to accommodate an increase in its customer base.
