Today, the Kansas City Star highlighted a company you may not have heard about but has probably been in your kitchen.
Multivac Inc was founded in 1987 by its parent German company Multivac Group. In 1991, the company moved into its Kansas City, Missouri headquarters. Today, they have 334 employees in the US, with about 200 based in Missouri, and revenues approaching $200 million.
The company’s niche is packaging, and there’s a good chance your ground beef, sliced cheese or bacon was packaged on a Multivac machine.
