EPC Inc., an IT asset disposal and recycling company, recently announced plans to open a new 47,000 square foot technology and redeployment facility in St. Peters, Missouri. The new facility is expected to create more than 60 new jobs in the region.
“As we continue to see supply chains hampered by the pandemic, especially for new technologies, we have listened to feedback from our customers who are looking for solutions to reuse their old equipment and participate further in the circular economy,” Pat Laughlin, President of EPC, said. “We’re investing a significant amount of capital to help our customers meet their specific needs.”
The new center expands EPC’s global operations to 18 processing facilities, including a $5 million, 104,000-square-foot recycling facility in Wright City, Missouri. With more than 500 employees worldwide, EPC provides data recovery and data destruction services, as well as IT equipment recycling or resale, and equipment repair, among other services.
