Hartzell Hardwoods is continuing growing its local operations less than a year after opening its doors in Kirksville, expanding warehouse space and adding more than a dozen new employees, according to a press release from Kirksville-Regional Economic Development, Inc.
Hartzell recently added 15 employees to support expanded operations, all of which was enabled by a 35,000-square-foot warehouse addition and 22,000-square-feet of buildings constructed to dry hardwood lumber and store materials.
Beachel Swafford, project manager for Hartzell, said the company now employs 23 people in Kirksville.
