Good Morning America Visits Missouri and Shines Spotlight on Great Jobs KC

As part of Good Morning America’s third hour (GMA3) segment celebrating Education Week, 105 students were surprised with the news that they would be receiving a $50,000 scholarship — totaling over $5 million. The announcement took place at Kansas City’s Union Station.
The Great Jobs KC Job Training Program provides adults 17 and over opportunities for tuition-free job training within well-paying and in-demand industries. Great Jobs KC understands the challenges that some face when heading back into the classroom and offers a comprehensive approach to continuing education, which includes Scholars Support Resources such as childcare and transportation support.
