Dollar Tree broke ground on their new 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution facility in Warrensburg, Missouri. The new facility was announced earlier this year, and represents more than $110 million in capital investment.
“Dollar Tree’s decision to grow its business in Missouri is great news for people in Warrensburg,” said Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, when the expansion was announced. “This new distribution center means hundreds of new quality jobs for families. We’re fighting to grow jobs every day, and we’re grateful to Dollar Tree for recognizing that Missouri is open for business and our people are ready to work.”
Dollar Tree expects to create 375 new jobs within three years at the facility, which will support Dollar Tree’s retail store network in the Midwestern U.S. The company expects the distribution center to be operational in May 2018.
