National Medical Billing Services (NMBS) is planning to open a new facility in Cuba, Missouri.
The planned $213,000 expansion project will create 11 new jobs, with the possibility for “significant” further job creation over the next few years, according to a statement from the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED).
If the company meets job creation and investment criteria, it could access up to $41,455 in tax credits through the Missouri Works program, according to a DED spokeswoman.
“We were looking for an area that had a large pool of talented, hard-working people interested in building a long term career with our company, and all of our research kept pointing to Cuba as our perfect destination,” said Lisa Rock, president of NMBS.
