Cerner will invest $500M in data center facility in Lee’s Summit

The company plans to buy space it has been leasing for a data center and add equipment there, The Lee’s Summit Journal reports.
The North Kansas City-based health care IT company will buy space it occupies at the Summit Technology Campus and add equipment as part of a deal valued at $528 million.
