Central States Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer of metal building components for use in the construction industry, is expanding with a new 53,600 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in St. Peters, Missouri. The $6.4 million dollar project is the first operation for Central States in Missouri, and will add 88 new jobs to the region.
“We want to extend a big, warm welcome to Central States Manufacturing,” Governor Mike Parson said. “We’re excited to be part of this company’s growth, and we look forward to working together as they create jobs and continue to invest in this region.”
“We are very excited about our new facility in St. Peters,” said Adam Haynes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Central States Manufacturing, Inc. “This location will allow us to better serve our customers in the Missouri and Illinois area with faster lead-time to help grow their business. The community has been very receptive, and I look forward to working with our new employees to find ways to serve and to be an outstanding resource for our neighbors.”
Central States Manufacturing chose St. Peters as the location for its new facility due to the region’s highly skilled labor and low business costs. Products manufactured at the facility will include metal panels and related metal trim and may include the production of sub structural steel for metal buildings, according to the company.
“We are so happy to welcome Central States Manufacturing to St. Peters and the new, full time jobs with benefits they are bringing to our hometown,” said St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano. “Central States is the newest business to speed their idea into reality with the hard work of our FasTrac team and I look forward to working with our new neighbors as they join our outstanding community.”
“We are pleased that Central States Manufacturing has chosen to locate their new facility in St. Peters,” says St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann. “This is a great example of how a strong employer already in St. Charles County – Arrowhead Building Supply – has been instrumental in helping us attract new business. It takes all of us, working together, to continue to bring major investments to the region.”
“We are excited that Central States Manufacturing is expanding its operations to St. Peters, Missouri, the new jobs will have a positive impact on our region. Again, this demonstrates that this is a great place to work, live, and invest. Thank you Central States for investing in the St. Louis metropolitan area,” said Tom Chulick, President and CEO, St. Louis Regional Chamber, who led the regional recruitment effort.
“It was a great pleasure to work alongside the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the St. Louis Regional Chamber and the City of St. Peters to support Central States Manufacturing as they create 88 new jobs in St. Peters,” said Steve Johnson, CEO of Missouri Partnership. “Missouri’s highly skilled labor and low business costs were key factors in Central States Manufacturing strategic decision to grow their business here and we are proud to welcome Central States Manufacturing to Missouri and look forward to their continued success.”
