Riding what it sees as growing demand for electric cars, Bitrode Corp. is moving from Fenton to
expand in south St. Louis County with a new headquarters and factory to make battery-testing
equipment.
Completion of the 85,000-square-foot facility is scheduled for April. Laura Schacht, Bitrode’s marketing director, says the company had considered renovating its 27,000 square feet of leased space in Fenton before deciding to expand and build its own facilities.
