Missouri is the global leader in agtech, and one of the many reasons is that we are the home of the world’s first food and agtech accelerator.
The accelerator is called Yield Lab.
“Over the past three years we have reviewed 415 applications from all over the globe,” Yield Lab Managing Director Thad Simons told EQ. “Finding a way to sustainably feed the world’s growing population is a human issue and we believe our new cohort will help immensely in the efforts to finding innovative production methods and technologies.”
Since 2015, Yield Lab has invested $2.3 million in 15 agtech companies. And just recently, Yield Lab announced its 2017 cohort of companies that includes three based in Missouri already.
You can read more about the 2017 Yield Lab cohort on the EQ website, and then learn more about Missouri’s global agtech leadership here. And we want your agtech company to join us, so we encourage you to contact our CEO Steve Johnson at 314.725.2688 or via our contact us page.
