Advanced Manufacturer SKF Opens State of the Art Facility in Missouri

SKF, a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of highly engineered lubrication systems, opened a new 310,000 square-foot facility representing more than $50 million in investment, and is expected to create more than 70 new jobs over the next six years.

SKF, a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of highly engineered lubrication systems, recently opened their new, state of the art, advanced manufacturing facility in St. Louis, Missouri.  The 310,000 square-foot facility represents more than $50 million in investment, and is expected to create more than 70 new jobs over the next six years.

SKF opened the new facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony and event.

The facility includes engineering, manufacturing and testing operations, marketing, sales and administrative offices, as well as a distribution center. The Swedish-based company currently employs 388 people in Missouri, the base for its lubrication business unit.
