Melton Machine & Control Co., an advanced manufacturing company, completed construction on its new headquarters that more than doubles its current capacity in Washington, Missouri. Melton Machine manufactures automated robotic welding equipment for a variety of industries, though it’s primarily focused on automotive.
“Our manufacturing zone supports much larger space needs for our customers, up to 150,000 square feet, to weld and assemble complex machinery components,” said Melton Machine Vice President of Sales and Marketing Glenn Archer. “That, in turn, enables them to more efficiently integrate large assembly line components into the manufacturing operations they serve.”
Melton Machine’s new 367,000 sq. ft. facility is energy efficient and has room for a 225,000 sq. ft. expansion for the future. The new HQ also includes a 74,000 sq. ft. corporate office, two-story boardroom, and a training and conference space.
The company said the new headquarters is large enough to accommodate for social distancing for its 130 employees. The company plans to add 20 new employees to the region in the coming months.
