Logistics company Navegate is expanding with a new office in Kansas City, Missouri. Company executives said they said they chose Kansas City for their first office in Missouri due to its role as a major logistics hub in the U.S.

Navegate CEO Nathan Dey said that the location was strategic for the company’s 600 existing clients, and that they hope the office will enable them to acquire additional clients in the region. Navegate currently has 115 employees worldwide, and is one of the first supply chain management companies to center technology as key to its business model.
