Branson, Missouri, was recently named the “Most Festive City in The World” by a leading travel website.

According to the article in Big 7 Travel:

“It comes as no surprise that Branson is the most festive city in the world to visit during Christmas. If you’re headed to Silver Dollar City, you’ll witness 6.5 million lights twinkling throughout the entire park. However, the entire city truly gets into the holiday spirit, offering driving tours through light-filled neighborhoods, live Christmas shows, and thousands of decorated trees.”

Millions of tourists visit the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World” each year to take advantage of the region’s three beautiful lakes, more than 40 music theaters, and its 13 world-class golf courses. According to the City of Branson, visitors to the city add $1.7 billion to the local economy each year.

Branson is located in Missouri’s Springfield region which is highly rated for its tax climate, livability factors and growth in jobs and population.

Key industries in the Springfield region include distribution & logistics, advanced manufacturing, call centers & back office, technology & innovation, corporate office, and data centers. The health innovation industry employs more than 31,000 people, and the manufacturing sector employs nearly 13,000.
