Missouri unemployment rates continue to fall. Now at historic levels.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development announced Missouri’s unemployment rate for February was 4.2 percent. This marked the lowest unemployment rate for Missouri since October of 2000.

Job fields that saw the most growth included accommodation & food services (up 5,500 jobs), health care & social assistance (up 2,100 jobs), finance & insurance (up 1,400 jobs), and wholesale & retail trade (up 1,300 jobs).

The national unemployment rate for February was 4.9 percent.
