Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla plans to add 100 new faculty positions over the next seven years, university President Cheryl Schrader announced Monday.
The hires will increase the number of faculty by almost 20 percent, according to a statement from the university.

Enrollment at Missouri S&T grew to more than 8,000 students this year, up nearly 6 percent from last year, according to the statement.
