St. Luke’s Hospital has been named to Healthgrades’ list of “America’s 50 Best Hospitals” in 2014, according to hospital officials. It’s the eighth consecutive year St. Luke’s has made the list.

Healthgrades is an online tool that provides information about the quality of physicians and hospitals. Each year, Healthgrades compiles a list of the nation’s top hospitals based on patient outcomes for 33 conditions. Hospitals are scored by their performance for each condition.

Healthgrades also released its ‘America’s 100 Best Hospitals’ list on Tuesday, in which two of BJC HealthCare hospitals are listed: Barnes-Jewish Saint Peters Hospital and Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
