Missouri had the nation’s sixth highest increase in the number of people earning higher education degrees.

A report from the Lumina Foundation that showed that 36.4 percent of Missourians had earned a degree as of 2011, up from 35.8 percent in 2010 and 34.9 percent in both 2008 and 2009.
