What a year it has been! Missouri has been grabbing headlines as multiple companies have announced major projects over the past few months.

First, Meta, formerly known as the Facebook company, announced plans to build its new $800 million hyperscale data center in Kansas City, Missouri. The new data center was the first of its kind in Missouri and is expected to support up to 100 jobs in the region.

Then, American Foods Group (AFG) broke ground on a new state-of-the-art beef processing facility in Warren County, Missouri. AFG is investing $800 million in the new 775,000 sq. ft. facility, and the company plans to create more than 1,300 new jobs in the region.

And finally, James Hardie, a world leader in fiber cement home siding and exterior design solutions, plans to build its newest manufacturing facility in Crystal City, Missouri. The new facility will create nearly 240 new high-paying jobs in the region.

Missouri is ranked #1 for on-the-job training. The state’s $94 billion ag industry is thriving. And, workforce development is front and center, with Missouri leading the nation in the number of Certified Work Ready Communities.
