Have you witnessed the majesty of a flag flying overhead on a sunny day? Felt the immense pride when that flag represents your home country or state? Enjoyed the in-flight beverages between take off and landing? Well then you just might be from Missouri.

The Missouri One is a 737 airliner built by Boeing, and painted in the likeness of the Missouri state flag, that honors Missouri’s long history as a leader in logistics and aerospace manufacturing.

Centrally located in North America, Missouri has a long history as a leader in logistics and distribution. The Show-Me State is strategically located at the heart of the U.S. allowing companies to get their products to a global market quickly and efficiently.

Missouri is the nation’s rail, river, road, pipeline and air crossroads. You can send your goods anywhere in the world via our international airports, extensive river barge infrastructure or on any of the US Class 1 railroads, and Missouri’s central location allows you to reach more than 50 percent of the continental US in less than one-day’s drive, and most of the rest within two.

Centrally located in the U.S.

Missouri is home to the most northern ice-free port on the Mississippi, with unrestricted access to the Gulf of Mexico, and Missouri’s 9,962 miles of pipelines carry nine different commodities, a major asset for area manufacturers and energy companies.

In addition to logistics, Missouri has a rich history in aerospace, from Charles Lindbergh, to the Mercury space program, to the latest in aerospace innovation. Today, that cutting edge innovation continues with more than 70 companies across Missouri, including Boeing, leading the way in every aspect of military aviation and equipment.

Missouri talent builds the F/A-18, EA-18 and F-15 fighter jets, along with a huge array of military ordinance, and Missouri manufacturers commercial airliners as well. Boeing recently opened their first commercial aircraft facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The 424,000 sq. ft. facility will be used to manufacture composite parts for the new 777X commercial jetliner.

With its strategic location, globally connected infrastructure, competitive business and labor costs, highly-skilled and hard working talent, quality of life and a statewide commitment to attracting companies and investment, Missouri is a place where companies come to grow and thrive.
