According to a 2017 study from Deloitte, 2017 will see an increase in global aerospace and defense revenues.

As aerospace and defense are key parts of Missouri’s economy, with 100 aerospace and defense manufacturers in Missouri-including Boeing’s defense, space and security division. And with more than 550 Missouri-based companies supplying Boeing and with more than 92,000 Missourians working in the A&D manufacturing sector, businesses across our state and Missouri talent are the driving forces behind the aircraft soaring above it.

But what’s next?

More jobs in advanced manufacturing aren’t the only items on the horizon. From stepped-up aircraft manufacturing to the rise of drones, there are several paradigm-changing trends shaping the future of A&D manufacturing.
