Central Marketing Transport, LLC, a refrigerated truckload carrier, announced its expansion into a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility near Strafford, Missouri. The new maintenance and driver facility represents $1 million in investment and will allow the company to draw from the region’s skilled workforce.
“The key to our success has been placing quality people in positions to grow and excel,” said Alan Wilkerson, president and owner of CMT. “We have the best technology available, of course, but that doesn’t equate to success if you don’t have the talent to execute through teamwork. At the end of the day, people are our greatest asset.”
Missouri knows logistics. We are North America’s rail, river, road, air and pipeline crossroads, and a booming epicenter of commerce. Missouri’s central location allows companies to reach more than 50% of the continental U.S. within one-day’s drive, and most of the rest within two. This strategic location means that companies like Central Marketing Transport can get products to the global market quickly and efficiently.
